Our client, an Oil Service organisation based in Dyce, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key duties include:
·Communicate, manage, and maintain high levels of awareness and compliance to company policies and procedures.
·Ensure that self and team are aware and comply with all job specific procedures/legislation.
·Maintain an active role in the identification of opportunities for continual improvement in the Company's quality, health, safety, and environmental management system.
·Attend safety meetings with HSEQ/Client personnel as required.
·Review procedures, policies and processes, report, recommend and implement continuous improvements.
·Review and ensure equipment complies with current legislation / regulations globally
·Liaise with global locations, ensuring that equipment is controlled utilising the same Technical Files and processes.
·Attend regulation / legislation seminars for information on any changes.
·Manage the Pre-Hire Inspection of Assets at each site, in accordance with Company operating policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Fleet Manger.
·Including the Equipment Inspection & Maintenance Tag Sign offs.
·PUWER, Final Inspection etc
·Calibration, Certification etc. for Project Mobilizations.
·Manage the Post-Hire Inspection of Assets at each site , in accordance with Company operating policies and procedures. Apply Red Tag & document findings.
·Create & facilitate Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for new build assets (internal & external) in conjunction with product development.
·Advise on and inspect assets identified to be scrapped as deemed beyond economical repair , in accordance with Company operating policies and procedures, in line with the Fleet Manager.
·Lead Investigations into failed Product or Process as per NCR / SR requirements
·Attend weekly meeting & contribute to department related Non-Conformance reports.
·Apply Project Knowledge to Client specific Quality Plans in conjunction with Regional HSE requirements.
·Develop ITP for new build assets in line with Supplier (internal or external)
·Attend all Project Kick off meetings - Present QA relevant considerations.
·Attend Design Review Meetings & Input from QA point.
·Attend Project Weekly updates or reviews.
·Attend SR & NCR as focal point for Project & Assets Department.
·Develop & Manage CRM for Pre & Post Inspection findings / release. [CRM Superuser]
·Degree/HNC/HND Level or equivalent in Technical or HSEQ discipline.
·ISO9001:2015 Auditor qualified. (Preferred)
·Quality Professional accreditation. (Preferred)
·Background & experience in a quality role within a technical / oil & gas related subject.
·Knowledge of mechanical & electrical equipment certification requirements for the Oil & Gas sector.
·Competent in reading and understanding Engineering drawings.
·Knowledge of temporary mobile Equipment.
·Ability to record data utilising Microsoft Word and Excel.
·DNV 2.7-1 knowledge
·ATEX and CE knowledge
